It was a huge week for Northern Ireland Running last week with our Strava club members amassing just under 5,832 miles.
Sunday was an especially busy day for racing with the NI & Ulster Road Relay Championships, Dune Half Marathon, The Craigavon 3/4 and Run-Anon Loughview to name a few.
Dave Andrews came top of this weeks total distance and total running time leaderboards with a total distance of 127.4 miles in 16:38:15.
Declan McGrellis came top of the Climbing leader-board with a total elevation gain of 6,145ft. That’s like running to the top of Slieve Donard, twice.
Joanne Foster had a clean sweep of second place finishes across all three of the main leader-boards. with a total distance was 61.4 miles in 8:26:35 hours and a total elevation gain of 5,552ft.
Patrick Kerr finished 3rd in the distance and total running time leader-boards with 61 miles in 7:40:39.
The final Climbing position went to Dave Andrews with a total elevation gain of 4, 413.
Well done Dave, Declan Joanne and Patrick on last weeks running achievements and also to the rest of the Running NI Strava club.
Moving on to the fastest average pace leader-boards. Oisin Cassidy was the fastest paced runner last week averaging a pace of 6:34 for his weekly total of 18.7 miles.
Second place was James Hamilton who averaged 6:40 over 26.4 miles with leader-board regular Eoin Hughes in 3rd place with 6:49 for 44.9 miles.
