Both courses are predominantly run on trails, lanes, forest paths and rural roads and will give runners spectacular views of Belfast Lough.
Both events are self-sufficient, and runners will be provided with a detailed roadbook to self-navigate the course, providing a unique opportunity to challenge yourself in a new way. There will be no signage or marshals on the course, so you need to follow the roadbook (no compass or additional map required).
As there is no access to naturally occurring water on the course and as this is a self-sufficient event, runners must carry their own food and water. This is a challenging course so runners should exercise their own common sense and carry adequate water and food supplies for the distance. These must be shown at registration.
The minimum age for this event is 16 however anyone between aged 16-17 is required to provide evidence of capability to participate, a specific disclaimer and a parental consent form. Anyone aged 16-17 and interested in taking part please contact us PRIOR to registering.
